We are looking to grow our hugely successful Energy team in our Manchester city Centre office and have an opening for a Senior Consultant working within the Contracting market.


What you'll be doing:


  • Be responsible for vetting & delivering competent contractors into some of the World’s largest Energy organisations.
  • Undertake business development to generate new leads and form relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their hiring needs and future recruitment planning strategies.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with clients to create long term partnerships
  • Sourcing candidates for suitable vacancies through multiple channels including job boards, social media and professional networks.
  • Keeping candidates successfully informed throughout the hiring process
  • Scheduling interviews effectively between client and candidate
  • Negotiating terms and employment contracts with clients and candidates
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Adhering to legal and ethical recruitment practices
  • Maintaining and updating records within our ATS system



To be considered you need:


  • 3+ years’ experience within recruitment, ideally on a temporary/contractor basis.
  • To be personable with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in Technical Engineering/Construction/Energy/Rail sectors (preferable)
  • Proven consistent billings year on year
  • Strong business development skills and commercial acumen
  • Solution orientated and effectively able to negotiate for a win-win outcome
  • Process driven to ensure high quality of service and best practice
  • Experience across European market (prefereable)
