We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior/Principle Recruitment Consultant to join our team, specializing in the blue-collar construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, with a deep understanding of the construction industry and a passion for placing high-quality candidates in roles that match their skills and experience. You will be committed to connecting skilled tradespeople with top-tier construction firms from within your own network as well as developing our inhouse accounts to their fullest potential. Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements. There are over 80 live sites that we can immediately introduce you to. Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to attract and engage skilled blue-collar candidates, including job boards, social media, industry events, referrals, and our internal database. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial candidate contact through to placement, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both clients and candidates. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior recruitment consultants, sharing industry knowledge, best practices, and helping to develop their skills. The opportunity to grow and lead this division will be available for the right individual. Stay informed on industry trends, labour market conditions, and competitor activities, using this knowledge to inform recruitment strategies and client consultations. Handle all aspects of the negotiation process, including salary and rate discussions, contract terms, and counteroffers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both clients and candidates. Compliance: Ensure all placements comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, right-to-work checks, and other statutory obligations. Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activity, financial performance, and other key metrics to senior management. Extensive experience in recruitment, with a strong focus on the blue-collar construction sector. Leadership: Ability to mentor and lead junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using recruitment software, CRM systems, and online sourcing tools.
