    Turnitin is seeking to hire a Senior Regional Compensation Partner to join our People team.The People Team enables Turnitin to unleash the full potential of ‘One Team’ and culture, which in turn enables it to deliver its business strategy and purpose.

    The People Team is split into four verticals:

    • Global People Partners
    • Centers of Excellence (COEs)
    • People Services / HR Shared Services
    • People Strategy & Operations (PS&O)

    This role will report to the Head of the Global Compensation COE, a function whose remit iskey to our ability to attract and retain the best talent. The incumbent will partner with leaders in the Americas or International locations to advise on best practices and contribute to the design, implementation, administration and governance of global Compensation programs, ensuring that outcomes meet current and future business needs and are consistent with internal and external market position.

    What you will do:

    • Provide day-to-day guidance to the organization on compensation decisions as thecompensation SME for the geography
    • Partner with the TA team to review job offers to ensure market competitiveness and internal pay equity
    • Advise and support compensation discussions, including off-cycle compensationdecisions
    • Provide compensation analysis and other deliverables for budget and forecastingpurposes
    • Deliver employee and leadership training on Turnitin’s total rewards philosophy
    • Lead and drive job family reviews and manage the accuracy of job levels and jobmapping to pay ranges/grades
    • Contribute to geographic cost of labor philosophy and framework to ensure consistent application
    • Evaluate, level, and determine the appropriate pay range for new and existing jobsand deliver on job families project which will underpin all career developmentefforts across functions at Turnitin
    • Document policies, processes, and workflows related to compensation
    • Advise on exempt / non-exempt pay practices and support FLSA reviews within theU.S.
    • Support administration of annual salary review process and bonus program, including system preparation
    • Contribute in participation & submission of compensation surveys (e.g. AON Radford, Mercer, etc.)
    • Regularly analyze and update salary compensation bands using established sources
    • Run ad hoc reports and analysis relative to total compensation packages
    • Support and drive additional projects as requested, including: labor market research; workforce planning; acquisition integrations; cost/benefit analysis; compliance reporting, etc.
    • Proactively partner with the Finance department on budgeting and accrual of totalrewards programs
      • 8+ years of Global Compensation experience
        • 5+ years of experience with broad-based compensation programs
        • Tech / Engineering sector experience preferred
        • BA / BS degree or equivalent experience required; (MS / MA degree or certified compensation professionalcredentialspreferred)
      • Highly detail driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with an ability to see thebigger picture
      • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
      • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
      • Knowledgeable of global total rewards, including benefits programs, design and administration
      • Experience with M&A due diligence and integration of equity programs, preferablyacross international locations
      • Advanced to expert level Excel or Google Sheets and Compensation Planning Softwares
      • Ability to analyze and present data to enable leaders to make sounds business decisions
      • Ability to multi-task and operate well in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment
