We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior / Team Lead RF Calibration Engineer based at our UK Head Office site in Yateley.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as an RF Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of specialist calibration, measuring instrumentation to national standards in a UKAS -17025 accredited Laboratory to ensure a first-class service to our customers.
You will undertake calibration measurements to the correct procedures, instructions and specifications and maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilising the relevant business management system.
As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for conducting specialist and complex calibration operations developing and following procedures and ensuring compliance with client contractual and KPI obligations.
Other responsibilities:
Assist in the development and improvement of inspection and calibration procedures.
Provide technical expertise to the internal customer service team, the external customer & Technicians/ Engineers.
Coaching/Training Apprentices and Technicians.
Participate in external/internal audits.
Ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.
Our ideal Senior / Team Lead RF Calibration Engineer
Formal qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or extensive demonstrable experience in and understanding calibration, both practical and theory.
Strong knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025.
Strong understanding of Windows-based and Laboratory automation software.
Advanced and specialized expertise with considerable work experience
Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing
Experience working within Customer focused environment
