We are working with a highly regarded west end based global investment manager to source a Senior RFP Writer to join their expanding London office.
Our client is one of the world's largest asset managers, operating across the Americas, Europe and Asia. They manage diverse portfolios, running a variety of equity and fixed income strategies, and investing for the long term on behalf of institutional and wholesale clients.
The RFP team is instrumental in winning new mandates and is a key part of the distribution group.
Our client is seeking a marketing professional with around 4-6+ years' experience and a proven track record in crafting compelling Request for Proposals (RFPs) in a buy-side environment that resonate with a sophisticated clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, with a particular focus on equity and fixed income investments. This role would suit a well-organised, detail-oriented individual who can distil complex investment concepts into clear, persuasive narratives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other related documents.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across the firm to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Monitor incoming requests and respond to these.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to formulate responses to complex requests.
- Continuously refine and enhance the RFP content library.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Review RFP/RFIs for other team members.
- Provide direction and guidance for more junior members of the team.
- Act as subject matter expert to the business where required.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of four years' experience in RFP writing within the asset management sector.
- Strong knowledge of equity and fixed income asset classes.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into coherent and engaging content.
- A collaborative, team-based approach to work.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
- Proficient in RFP software and MS Office Suite.
- A relevant degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
