Our global consultancy client in Manchester has a hybrid working opportunity for a capable Senior Risk Manager to join their expanding, infrastructure' defence team, undertaking duties on a high-profile project or programmes across the Northwest and Manchester.


Due to the work involved, they are looking for experienced Senior Risk Managers on a permanent basis from a Rail, Highways, Aviation, Nuclear or Defence, Nuclear, Water background with proven understanding about the processes of risk delivery across major projects or programmes. Their employees can move between sectors, build experience across a broad range of major projects and programmes and support the implementation of an integrated risk management process across a Project Delivery environment.


Salary: £65,000pa - £75,000pa + Car Allowance

Type: Consultancy (Professional Services Company)

Role: Senior Risk Manager

Availability: Permanent (Hybrid Working 37.5hrs)

The main purpose of the role will be to implement or support the implementation of an integrated risk management framework, identify and facilitate threats, monitor overall risk exposure and budget, produce risk reports, use data to inform investment planning and conduct quantitative risk assessments on cost and scheduling to inform project contingency levels.


SC/DV Clearance is desirable, however the ability to gain clearance is essential.


It's a permanent position, predominately client facing, this may be part of a large team or as the key day to day contact point with the client, meaning you’ll benefit from a development programme across their Infrastructure Portfolio designed to ensure that your career objectives are met in full.


Required Skills


In order to be able to carry out the duties of the role as required, candidates will be expected to demonstrate the following capabilities:


A working understanding of an integrated risk management process (risk, cost and schedule) on a large programme

Understanding of Qualitative and quantitative assessment of risk

  • Cost, and Scheduling (Integrated risk management)
  • Mitigation
  • IRM risk certified candidates preferred.
  • who are degree qualified in related field.
