Location:Milton Keynes, Hybrid

Salary:£80,000 - £90,000 dependent on experience, plus 15% bonus

Contract Type:Permanent, full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Risk Manager to join our progressive employee services and insurance business. This role is pivotal in providing strategy, direction, and end to end oversight for the Risk function.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with eye for detail, with the proven ability to challenge and influence at all levels. As the Senior Risk Manager, you will be responsible for helping the business to identify and manage risks and for setting up and maintaining systems and documentation of risk management.

This role reports to the CFO but has direct and separate access to the Chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee (NED).

To be successful in this role you'll have:

  • Broad risk knowledge, gained through experience operating at a senior management level within a regulated environment (financial services/general insurance experience would be preferable but is not essential).
  • Extensive senior risk experience, covering both financial and non-financial risks, with demonstrated leadership in building risk frameworks.
  • Experience of analysing information and data, identifying trends and recommending action/solutions.
  • Previous experience in operational areas (not solely in risk roles) also desirable.
