Job Description
My Client is looking for a new Engineer to join their team! They are working on the development of their digital platforms for their clients which are all global fintech's and global financial service companies.
They are looking for someone that can join their team of researchers, designers and other developers to implement the Scala backend of their applications.
MUST HAVES:
Experience of development of enterprise class Scala applications;
Experience of development of enterprise class Java applications;
Experience in Capital Markets
Experience working in a multi-person project team;
Enthusiasm for the user-centred design-driven approach to software development;
Ability to work in a lean and agile manner to deliver quickly to the wider team;
NICE TO HAVES:
Knowledge of Credit Risk
Knowledge of Credit Instruments
Ability to explain technology decisions and demo to business stakeholders;
Ability to challenge historical technology decisions and biases;
Experience of developing Application for global financial services firms;
Experience working for a consulting company.
