<div><p><span><strong>Overview of the role</strong></span><br/>To undertake cutting edge digital security research and innovation activities with the ultimate goal of developing solutions to the business problems for which a solution doesnt currently exist. Further, to build and maintain awareness and knowledge of best-practice technology trends and commercially available digital security solutions.</p><p><span><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span><br/>Collaboration: Collaborate in cyber security innovation activities, with internal and external peers. Provide expert consultation services on the specialist cyber security subject.</p><p>Coordination: Support cyber security innovation coordination across the business to maximise alignment, to include knowledge transfer in various forms. Build and maintain working network across Airbus among subject matter peers and stakeholders. Undertake internal & external engagements on behalf of the digital security office.</p><p>Innovation: Deliver innovation projects to cost, quality and time constraints. Deliver activity reports and presentations to cost, quality and time constraints. Build and maintain a research network to support the specialist cyber security subject.</p><p><span><strong>Main activities</strong></span></p><p>Collaboration:<br/>Support external digital security innovation agreements, collaborations and partnerships with specialist subject expertise and industrial / context-of-use guidance. <br/>Provide expert services (consultancy) to the internal business on the specialist cyber subject, and as required.</p><p>Coordination:<br/>Provide significant contributions to the transition of innovation knowledge and technologies into Airbus business and digital security operations, including trainings, presentations and reports. <br/>Represent Clients digital security at global conferences and events.</p><p>Innovation:<br/>Undertake state of the art research projects into digital security topics of interest in support of the business, in partnership with the other members of the Cyber Security Innovation team.<br/>Undertake best-practice horizon scanning, and market awareness.<br/>Develop prototype solutions.<br/>Publish academic articles, technical reports, white papers and patents.</p><p><span><strong>Outputs </strong></span></p><p>Innovation Solutions:<br/>Physical prototypes, software, configurations, technical reports, expertise. Provide. horizon scan / market study technical reports<br/>Generate research proposals, alone, with team members and external network. Good knowledge of external research funding opportunities.</p><p><br/><span><strong>Skillset & Experience</strong></span><br/><strong>Essential:</strong><br/>* A BSc degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.<br/>* Preferable Additional professional training / certifications and experience in Cyber Security.<br/>* Preferable Substantial experience in Cybersecurity of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning<br/>* Preferable Substantial experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning applied to Cyber Security<br/>* Digital security experience in relevant digital security specialist area<br/>* Experience of research, innovation and/or solution development<br/>* Preferably Experience of managing digital security and/or research & innovation projects<br/>* Preferably Publication track record<br/>* Preferably Experience of patent applications and intellectual property management<br/>* Excellent report writing and presentation skills<br/>* Excellent spoken and written language proficiency (English)<br/>* Curious and innovative mindset<br/>* Comfortable presenting in the public domain</p><p>Advantage: French and German language skills</p><p>Technical skills:<br/>* Technical specialist in this area of digital security:<br/>* Data Analytics<br/>* Machine Learning <br/>* Artificial Intelligence</p><p>Some knowledge of any of the following:<br/>* Security Architecture<br/>* Cyber Forensics and Incident Response<br/>* Industrial Control Cyber Security<br/>* Network Security<br/>* Cloud Security<br/>* Cryptography<br/>* Security Monitoring<br/>* Cyber Risk Management<br/>* Secure Software Development</p><p><strong>Desirable:</strong><br/>* Recent PhD or MSc in a relevant "Cyber-AI" -relevant area.<br/>* Recent research publication track record in a relevant "Cyber-AI" -relevant area.<br/>Cisco R&S / CCNA<br/>* French and German language skills</p><p><strong>Additional information</strong></p><p>This jobholder will be required to attend frequent business meetings, events and conferences across Europe (particularly the UK, France and Germany), and must be able to travel accordingly (up to 25%).</p><p><br/><strong>Organisation structure</strong></p><p>The jobholder will fit into the Cyber Security Innovation team, reporting to the Head of Digital Security Innovation.
