What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer with skills in designing, developing and implementing technology-based solutions with experience in CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender EDR tools to work with our Security engineering team. Reporting directly to one of our Security Engineering Specialists, you will:

  • Mentor and coach other Security Engineers in the business.
  • Provide a technical point of escalation for the Security Engineers for complex requests or when there are challenges with a client. Apply your high level of technical knowledge and experience to prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and audiences at external conferences and events.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to projects by proactively identifying and assessing gaps in security controls and providing / implementing appropriate technical solutions to address customer requirements.
  • Share appropriate information relating to your area of expertise with both the internal and external technical community.

Where you'll be

This is a home-based role, although there may be occasional requests to travel to your local office or client sites.

How you’ll grow

You can progress into a technical leadership role, for example an Security Engineering specialist, or alternatively if you would prefer to develop your consultancy skills you can transfer into a more customer facing role and become a Consultant.

  • Skills in designing, developing and implementing technology-based solutions with experience in CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender EDR tools Be an experienced Security Engineer who has developed sufficient knowledge and experience to operate with limited supervision and provide guidance to others.
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and mastery within your specific domain.
