THE ROLE

As a Senior Account Manager at Wilderness, you will lead a team of social experts, fostering growth through coaching and listening while ensuring top-tier client management. Reporting to the Head of Client Services and working with senior leadership, you'll collaborate across departments to deliver outstanding service and drive client satisfaction. 


Your role involves overseeing daily project operations, providing fresh ideas in client interactions, and confidently steering communication to achieve results. You'll coordinate internal teams and external clients, using your strategic skills to manage projects, handle senior-level discussions, and support the agency's growth and excellence. 


WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Provide proactive leadership to maximize team performance. 
  • Maintain regular senior-level communication with clients. 
  • Align processes and structure for optimal output. 
  • Organise and manage client feedback. 
  • Generate accurate financial and budget reports. 
  • Set up project schedules and ensure key milestones are met. 
  • Lead internal and external brainstorm sessions. 
  • Use expertise to guide clients, the team, and the agency productively. 


Originally this role will require a secondment to work with one of our entertainment clients part time. This will involve:


  • Attend internal meetings and align the social media plans across departments. 
  • Set monthly social media priorities for the client. 
  • Brief Wilderness team on monthly priorities and key focus areas. 
  • Review and build on content plans, ensuring UK topical relevance and checking restrictions. 
  • Review Wilderness content from a brand perspective and share internally for further checks. 
  • Act as brand guardian for social, ensuring TOV and visual guidelines are followed. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams for collaboration posts and cross-channel promotion. 
  • Review Wilderness reports and create shareable documents for stakeholders. 
  • Support content sourcing by communicating with relevant teams. 


ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in an agency role, with strong social media expertise and professional client relationship management. 
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and handle challenges with a positive, proactive approach. 
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, finance, and senior-level planning/strategising. 
  • Deep knowledge of British TV/Film culture, coupled with excellent communication, persuasive skills, and attention to detail.
