CDA are currently recruiting a Social Media Executive to join our exciting and fast-moving agency who are based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire but now work from anywhere.

Working in the marketing team, you will be responsible for managing social media and digital marketing campaigns on behalf of multiple clients, as well as CDA.

This role works with a range of platforms and systems. It requires the ability to communicate social messages for both B2B and B2C businesses and manage interactions appropriately, always using correct grammar and spelling.

You should have at least 2 years’ experience of using multiple social media accounts, email marketing software and content writing as well as the ability to make decisions based on the analysis of key trends.

You will know whether content is best suited to Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn and create engaging channel-appropriate content. Responsibilities include content creation, scheduling, interacting with online communities, contributing to marketing strategies, and liaising with clients to execute these strategies.

You will have a proven track record in engaging with social media and be self-motivated. A team player with a positive outlook and the ability to contribute effectively to team and organisational objectives.

DESIRED SKILLS:

 

  • Liaising with clients on a monthly and weekly basis to plan and report on marketing campaigns that cover social media, email and content strategy
  • Work with the internet teams at CDA to implement client campaigns
  • Comfortable posting and interacting across multiple social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube.
  • An excellent knowledge of the social media landscape
  • A track record in creating and developing engaging, relevant, and emotive social media content in line with a content calendar
  • Awareness of emerging trends and new opportunities
  • Copywriting for website content such as blogs
  •  Set up and execute email marketing campaigns using various tools such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo etc.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients to establish content and devise strategies
  • A self-starter with good attention to detail and someone who is highly organised and able to manage multiple clients at any one time
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong PC/IT skills including MS Office
  •  Experience working with content creation tools such as Canva, Hootsuite and Adobe Suite
  • Willingness to learn and positive, can-do attitude
  • Good work ethic
  • Agency background an advantage

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and implementation of marketing strategies for clients and CDA
  • Creating and scheduling social media posts, including creation of image and video assets
  • Writing content for client websites including site pages and blog articles
  • Updating websites for clients and CDA through content management systems such as WordPress
  • Working at exhibitions and other events to develop new business for CDA

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or equivalent experience

SALARY:

  • £25K to £28K depending on experience
