Smarkets is a peer-to-peer exchange platform for sports and political betting that has handled over £20 billion in traded volume since 2010. Our goal is to upend the sports betting industry by creating a transparent platform that offers not only the fairest odds but also the best technology and customer experience.
As a Senior Social Media/Marketing Executive at Smarkets, you will be responsible for supporting the paid acquisition program and assisting the wider marketing team. You will be working alongside marketers and data scientists as part of a cross-disciplinary team that covers the entire user journey. This is a dynamic role where you will focus on growing paid social channels with support of the Acquisition Lead and manage relationships with both new and existing partners whilst ensuring their performance hits KPI’s set.
The ideal candidate is someone who has hands-on experience running paid social campaigns and enjoys using marketing tactics creatively to acquire new customers.
About you:
- Experience working in a digital marketing position with hands-on experience managing Twitter and Facebook campaigns.
- Knowledge of A/B testing to improve campaign performance
- Confident in interacting with senior stakeholders and being a trusted advisor
- An understanding of the basics of ASO
- Confident in using social advert management tools and other platforms/data to help monitor performance and demonstrate ROI
- You’re solutions driven and not afraid to speak up when you see an opportunity for improvement
- A real team player with strong communication skills
