Job Description
An established Edinburgh-based FinTech organisation are looking for a skilled Senior .Net Developer to join one of their Agile squads - remote and flexible working on offer.
They've been operating very successfully now for over 20 years and work with a large portfolio of businesses - they've got a couple of products that are widely used throughout the UK and they're constantly upgrading / improving / extending these.
They're ideally looking for a Senior Developer to join one of their Data focused squads - where you'll be working on a brand-new product for the business. They're hoping you will be able to contribute fairly early on and help out with a lot of heaving lifting for this. There's still a lot of work to be done on the product and they're looking for someone that can be actively involved in the planning, suggesting new ideas / features / tech and then helping the team implement these.
You'd be joining a multi-disciplinary squad made up of Developers, QA, Product Owner, Business Analysts, Scrum Master etc - it's a relatively new function though, so they're looking for someone with a bit of experience and ideally someone that might want to take on some leadership / senior responsibilities.
You'll ideally have experience with most of the following;
** .Net Framework; C#, .Net Core, Web API's
** Databases (SQL, PostgreSQL)
** Azure (Azure logic Functions and Azure DevOps).
** Working in a product environment
Experience with the following is highly desirable;
** Working in a Finance / FinTech environment
** Modern JavaScript Libraries
** Working / interest in Data
Their office is based in central Edinburgh where they can accommodate Hybrid or remote working - they hope people can pop in for the big meetings but are really flex. They can also offer really flexible working hours too, and it's a 35-hour working week.
In return, they're able to offer salaries from £45k to £65k (could be scope for more if someone really impressed though) on top of a competitive benefits package which includes 8% pension, Bonus etc.
