Senior Software Engineer
Location: Remote within the UK (occasional visits to the London office for company events)
£75-85K

If so, this role is for you! My client is in the Financial Services sector providing international payment services and foreign exchange solutions to businesses and affluent individuals. They’re seeking a proactive and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
You will primarily be responsible for maintaining and developing applications, with opportunities to work on greenfield projects. The focus will be on trading payments, complex systems, and payment margins within an agile, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop existing applications.
- Contribute to greenfield projects with a focus on trading payments and complex systems.
- Work collaboratively within an agile environment.
Required skills:
- Strong experience with C# (.Net Core/.Net 6+)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud stack (Azure Service Bus, AKS/Kubernetes, Azure storage)
- Some knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Frontend Development experience with Typescript (Angular)
- Version Control: Git (Azure DevOps/GitHub/GitLab/command line)
Soft Skills:
- Proactive and able to think outside the norm.
- Enjoys challenges and is driven to improve processes and solutions.
Desirable skills:
- Experience working in start-up or scale-up environments.
- Experience in FinTech or Financial Services.
- Strong DevOps experience.
