About Noon:
Noon's mission is to radically change the way people learn. We wantto run a network of schools taught by a network of top teachers in the Middle Eastregion, and to accomplish this we need to build new technology that enables top teachers to effectively teach our students even if they are not physically present at the school.
We come from diverse backgrounds and work across four timezones. At the same time we recognize thatsmall teams sitting together can move a lot faster than those that work remotely, and hence we're building up our engineering presence in our London office.
What you will do
As part of the engineering team, you'll work across our entire tech stack.We use React native for app development. Our backend is written in Java, spring boot on top of a REST API and MySql.
You will team upwith fellow engineers and cross-functional partners in product, design, and business to define your goals, and work together to achieve them. Your success will not be measured in terms of the output - numbers of pull requests and lines of code written, but rather, in terms ofwhat those changes in software achieve for our students and teachers.
About you
We're looking for proactive problem solvers who want to work across our whole tech stack. You could be a seasoned full-stack engineer looking for interesting products to build, or someone looking for new opportunities to learn and grow. You areself-motivated and can work independently. You have good product sense and can create experiences that are not just functional but fun (remember, we're building for teenagers!).You have a growth mindset and desire to learn new things and to help others learn too.
Ideally, you have:
- 5 years of experience with programming in languages likeJava, Go, React Native.
- Strong understanding of technologies like Spring, Graph QL, AWS.
- Experience building consumer-facing mobile products.

Live coding interviews (algorithms) -> system design -> behavioral interview.
