Location: Farringdon, (EC1M)
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per year
The Role:
An Excellent opportunity for an experienced criminal defence and professional disciplinary senior solicitor in a busy litigation boutique ranked by both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners in Farringdon, London.
The company offers experienced senior solicitors an excellent salary of 80-100k with 30% bonus over target, high levels of autonomy and route to partnership.
Duties:
? The successful solicitor will undertake criminal defence and professional regulatory/disciplinary work.
? They will work collaboratively with other members of the department including assisting in the supervision of those junior.
? They must have extensive experience as a solicitor in criminal litigation and preferably will have undertaken professional disciplinary/regulatory work.
? They should be adept at running their own caseload independently and progressing matters with limited strategic supervision.
? The department works on a privately funded basis only, servicing professionals and HNWIs.
Applicants should have demonstrable and recent experience of working in private practice.
? They should also be natural communicators and comfortable advising people from a wide range of backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will have:
? 6+ years PQE as a senior solicitor within private practise working on criminal defence and Professional Disciplinary.
? Excellent IT skills, including the advance features of Microsoft Office and prior use of case management systems.
? Early prospects for developing a management role and partnership status for the right candidate.
? Applicants will be able to demonstrate achievement at a leading firm, or specialist boutique firm, with a privately funded caseload.
