Senior Commercial Property Solicitor - Salary DOE + benefits. Hybrid working with a choice of days in the office based in SE London, or the city!
A renowned legal 500 firm with an excellent reputation is looking to employ an experienced Associate into their Commercial property team. The property team is highly regarded and are continuously expanding.
The role will suit someone with broad experience in commercial property as you will be working with clients from SME’s, hospitality, pharmacy, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, property developers, private equity and investors, charities, private property owners, charities, lenders, etc.
Business development will be a crucial part of this role and you will manage your own caseload and have the opportunity to work on quality matters.
The role:
The role requires a commercial property specialist solicitor, running their own transactional caseload and providing quality advice to clients, and includes as follows:
- Matters include Land development, Landlord and tenant transactions,Lease renewals,Purchase and sale of businesses and investment properties, General commercial conveyancing, and Real estate finance.
- Work with other departments with the objective of cross referrals, promoting the services of all disciplines across the firm.
- Business development and marketing of the firm by attending events and using social media content, etc.
- Introduce new clients the firm and maintain existing relationships.
- Identify and attend appropriate networking opportunities.
- Play an active role within the team and support team members during busy times.
- Supervise the work of any direct reports such as Legal Assistants and support them where necessary.
- Promote the firm’s core values and branding.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years PQE in a Commercial Property specialism
- Commercial Property experience in a Private Law practice managing own clients/caseload.
- Self-sufficient and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to relate to clients at all levels and demonstrate excellent levels of client care.
- Good team player with collegiate and collaborative approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercial acumen and understanding of financial fundamentals.
- Proven experience in business development and a keen interest in developing new clients.
- Relationships with some 3rd party referrals is preferred but not essential.
- Genuine desire to be involved in the future growth plans for the firm.
