We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sommelier to join our growing team at Sunset Hospitality Group – UK.
Who are we:
Opening its doors in September 2024, Amélie is an exquisite French restaurant within Belgravia’s historic Pantechnicon building on Motcomb Street. A luxury dining destination set across two floors as well as an outdoor terrace, its menu will focus on Provençal cuisine alongside further Mediterranean influences. Amélie will bring the French spirit of art de vivre to London and will be one of Sunset Hospitality Group’s first UK openings.
About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Sommelier to work alongside our Head Sommelier to oversee the performance of the wine operation. Join our industry leading team of Sommeliers as we embark on our goal of becoming London’s favourite destination restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in curating and maintaining a diverse and exceptional wine selection that reflects the restaurant's commitment to excellence.
- Offer personalized wine recommendations and guidance to enhance the dining experience for our client’s guests.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
- Contribute to the development of innovative wine pairings that complement the culinary offerings.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure the cellar is meticulously organized and maintained.
- Always be client facing to develop relationships with regular guests.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- A passion for delivering memorable experiences for guests.
- Proven experience as a senior sommelier in a reputable dining establishment, demonstrating an advance understanding of wine regions and varietals.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests to provide memorable wine experiences.
- A team player with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the wine program.
- WSET Level 3 certification or above.
