£75,000 to £90,000 + Holiday + Pension + 2 days WFH

This is an excellent opportunity for a Statistical Analyst or Actuary to join a market global leading business at an exciting time of growth and take ownership of the role while simultaneously assisting in the success of leading the team.

This company are a well-established, family-owned insurance brokerage who have recently opened a new spot in their statistics team. They are now looking for Senior Statistical Analyst to join their highly professional team to lead the growth of this team by guiding the team and supporting management.

In this varied role you will be responsible for utilising previous experience in the Health and Life Insurance industry while focusing on commercial aspects of the role. Putting both your technical and industry knowledge together you will be responsible for generating insightful research and analysis to deliver solutions to specific issues raised using statistical techniques.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the Health and Life insurance industry and a strong commercial focus, that has a technical background focusing on Python, SQL and Power BI. Within your knowledge you should be highly capable using statistical analysis software such as SPSS, and have an understanding of Purchase Manager Index (PMI), Acturial solutions and Stochastic Modelling.

The Role:
*Leading the development of Statistical solutions
*Produce claims forecasts on PMI
*Internal and External communication
*Generating overall insight research

The Person:
*Experience within the Health and Life Insurance industry
*Previous experience programming languages (Python)
*It is a requirement to have Power BI and Excel knowledge
*Proven track record with Statistical analysis software
