In Your Role as a Senior Structural Engineer
You will be involved in various projects within all our Business Units: Transport and Installation, Decommissioning, and Wind.
What You Will Be Responsible For
As a Senior Structural Engineer, your daily tasks will involve:
- Developing conceptual designs for offshore lifting systems and steel structures, including lifting equipment, lift points, lift configurations, grillage, and seafastening.
- Conducting structural calculations manually and preparing technical design reports.
- Performing structural strength verification analyses, utilizing software like SACS and ABAQUS for Finite Element Analysis.
- Reviewing structural deliverables, such as construction reports and drawings.
- Ensuring quality control on deliverables produced by team members.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement and learning culture of the organization by actively sharing knowledge, experience, and suggesting areas for enhancement.
Who Will You Collaborate With?
As a Structural Engineer, you may be assigned to any of the business units (Wind, Decommissioning, or Transport and Installation).
The Wind Business Unit aims to support the global energy transition by leveraging the client's Contractors' expertise in the offshore wind sector.
The Decommissioning Business Unit focuses on the safe and predictable removal of offshore installations, a field in which the client has excelled for more than three decades.
Lastly, the Transport and Installation Business Unit specializes in the safe, cost-effective, and sustainable transportation and installation of offshore structures.
