<div><h3>Alpha Associates Recruitment - Structural Engineer Position</h3><p>Alpha Associates Recruitment is seeking a Structural Engineer at either Senior or Principal level to join their clients team in their Newcastle office. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual capable of managing a project from the proposal phase to construction administration. They should have prior experience in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Retail sectors. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary based on their experience.</p><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ol><li>Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates.</li><li>Perform construction-related services such as shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.</li><li>Collaborate with architects, designers, and building contractors on design and construction projects.</li><li>Ensure all drawings are of high quality to minimize errors and costly mistakes.</li><li>Liaise with team members to meet clients demands.</li></ol><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li><b>Bachelors degree</b> or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Experience using Eurocodes, relevant design codes, and standards.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience working at a UK Consultancy.</li><li>Full UK License.</li></ul><p>If you are interested, please apply immediately.
