The Role:


We are seeking a Senior Talent Manager with a strong focus on business development / sales to drive new revenue opportunities. Having an established relevant network of social media/marketing contacts at brands that you can leverage from day one to pitch and secure partnerships for our talent would be a huge plus for any potential applicant. The willingness to grow a this via networking is essential, so both LinkedIn and people skills are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing Driven Talent’s business through relationship-building, pitching, and negotiating contracts, while managing and supporting our existing talent roster.


This role reports directly to the Founder/Managing Director and offers significant autonomy to take initiative in securing new business.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Business Development & Sales: Use your existing network of contacts within the automotive, construction, and industrial sectors to generate and pitch new brand partnerships. Drive revenue growth by negotiating and closing deals for our talent.
  • Strategic Partnership & Sales: Develop creative solutions that align with brand objectives, pitching our talent to both new and existing partners to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Talent Management: Independently manage and support a roster of talent, ensuring their growth, satisfaction, and involvement in relevant collaborations.
  • Contract Negotiation: Draft and negotiate contracts with a deep understanding of key variables like IP rights, paid/organic usage, and exclusivity.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and expand long-term relationships with brand partners, ensuring mutual satisfaction and ongoing collaboration.
  • Talent Acquisition: Identify, negotiate, and sign promising new talent that aligns with the agency’s mission and industries. Leverage your relationships to grow our talent pool.
  • CRM & Process Management: Efficiently track contacts, deals, and communications using HubSpot (or similar CRM). Follow internal processes and ensure that all deals and relationships are well-documented and managed.

  • Established Existing Network: You bring an established network of industry contacts relevant to the automotive, construction, and industrial sectors. Your relationships will be key to driving immediate, incremental results.
  • Mission-Driven: You are aligned with our mission of building fair and meaningful partnerships and are committed to showcasing the value of our creators.
  • Adaptability: A natural communicator, you can tailor your approach to fit various client needs and situations, 'reading the room' and responding to the feedback to keep a pitch on track.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in business development, social media, influencer marketing, or talent management is highly valuable. Understanding brand goals, sponsorships, and how success is measured is crucial.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for pitching brands and providing clear instructions to talent, ensuring smooth execution.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) is important, as you will manage your sales pipeline, contacts, and deals efficiently from day one.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Working hours are typically 9-5 but this can be flexible, as the role often requires working with brands from across the world where timezones can impact meeting schedules. The role may also require infrequent travel (once or twice per month) to attend trade shows for prospecting, talent/brand content shoots, in-person meetings. For this reason, having a UK driving license and access to a vehicle is a must.


The salary for this role will depend on experience, but will most likely fall within the range of £35,000-£55,000. Employees are entitled to 28 days' leave including bank holidays. Outside of contracted obligations, team members have enjoyed discretionary bonuses and extra leave, which will be formalised as the company continues to grow.
