As the Senior Technical Artist, you will support our Associate Technical Director to define the game budgets across a range of hardware and optimising art assets to fit within those budgets.
You will take responsibility for collaborating with the team to resolve issues before they affect the development process and assess and improve Unity’s profiling tools across the game.
• Experience documenting user-facing tools for art creation and workflow (UI and error handling)
• Proficiency using Maya/3DS Max, Photoshop, Substance
• Knowledge of shaders and VFX
• Understanding of artistic principals (lighting, scale/proportion, composition)
• Excellent complex problem-solving and communication skills across both artistic and technical disciplines
• Working knowledge of DCC tools within Maya/3DS Max, Photoshop, substance
