Job Description

Senior Technician - BCP Encocam engineering are searching for a new Senior Technician for our composite panels division (BCP), to work in our Huntingdon factory in Cambridgeshire. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician to join our dynamic team at a leading composite structures manufacturing company. As a Senior Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing technical operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in the production of composite structures. You will be involved in the sophisticated manufacture and assembly of products, adhering to established specifications and instructions. Your responsibilities will extend to conducting final checks and adjustments to identify and rectify any defects, ensuring the delivery of top-tier products to our customers. BCP manufacture an array of composite products for the Rail, Marine, Aerospace, Automotive and Architecture industries and also caters for the industrial digital printing industry by manufacturing specialist vacuum tables. The role includes:- Assembly of BCP products to a high standard Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards. Ensure a professional, quality service (external and internal) is provided at all times throughout the various stages of production. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the manufacturing process. proficiency in hand and power tools Meet quality standards and targets required for on-time deliveries of orders. Completion of paperwork adhering to all correct procedures therefore an understanding of computers is required. Work on own without supervision and have a flexible approach to work situations. Some heavy lifting required. You may be required to train other colleagues as and when requested. Collaborate with Engineering to improve processes, design and product quality. Knowledge and experience of manufacturing non-metallic composite components (i.e. Carbon Fibre) is preferred but not essential. You need to have team-working skills and the ability to establish good relationships with both colleagues and customers through effective communication and good language skills. It would desirable as well if you had a g

ood understanding of 3D solid geometries and were able to use e-Drawings and basic Solidworks . I
