Retail, Senior Technology Lawyer, circa 10 PQE
Our client is an international fast-paced moving retail/B2C business looking for a smart, experienced and highly motivated technology lawyer to join their fast-growing team at this highly successful and rapid growth business. This role is based in central London with hybrid working.
They are looking for a motivated and highly capable individual, with around 10 years PQE with technology experience. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will have an interesting and varied workload encompassing a broad range of legal matters including:
ROLE SUMMARY
- Seeking a high-energy, self-starter who is focused on delivering outcomes and solving problems.
- You will advise on a range of technology and commercial legal matters to support new services, software and solutions.
- You will assist with the development of new solutions and services to facilitate sales and oversea the business global roll out.
- Work closely with internal and external counsel, stakeholders and subject matter experts.
● Work and manage new business legal e-commerce, marketing and online matters.
● Partnering with the active corporate development/M&A team in assessment of M&A strategy and opportunities in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
● Liaising with the General Counsel l and other members of the wider global legal team as well as wider project teams to execute M&A transactions.
● Helping build and manage a framework of policies and guidance to manage commercial issues within the business.
Critical Experience:
- circa 10+ PQE years of experience in technology/outsourcing
- Law Degree or equivalent and a qualified Solicitor
- Experience on advising of new solutions and services, SaaS, Software Development.
- Experience in a national or global law firm or in-house commercial experience in a global technology company.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, including transactional work and strategic projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global work environment.
- Confident team player with a proactive attitude and a focus on delivery and strong communication.
