The Role
As the Senior Trade Marketing Manager, you'll spearhead the success of our dog and cat food brands across the UK and Ireland retail landscape, ensuring achievement of financial and market share targets. Your role involves developing comprehensive Brand Plans, New Product initiatives, and Communication Plans, leveraging PR, traditional media, and digital channels.
You'll forge close working relationships with the central team to tailor customer products, NPD, and sub-brands effectively. Additionally, you'll integrate the breeder business into the Eukanuba brand plans, maximising market potential.
With a deep understanding of consumers and shoppers, you'll craft targeted strategies to influence decisions internally and externally. Collaborating closely with the UK sales team, you'll support NPD launches, shopper media planning, and range reviews, optimising marketing ROI and guiding budget allocation.
Your role includes line management responsibilities, providing mentorship to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence. Overall, as the Senior Trade Marketing Manager, you'll drive growth and innovation within our brands, maintaining our position as industry leaders.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role should have proven experience in trade marketing, brand management, or related roles within the consumer goods industry.
A strong understanding of the UK and Ireland retail landscape, particularly within the pet food sector, is essential. Exceptional leadership and communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
An analytical mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving targets is also key.
Suitable candidates will have a minimum of four years’ experience in Trade Marketing and ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related filed.

Salary: £50,000 - £57,000 + 10% Bonus
