Job Description
Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Senior Transport Controller. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company's site in the Edinburgh area.
Becoming a vital member of the team you will be tasked with liaising with drivers and customers, planning routes and dealing with Transport issues.
This is a Monday – Friday role 08:00 – 17:00. However, additional hours may be required to meet business needs.
Main Responsibilities:
Planning and confirming routes.
Liaising with drivers
Management of drivers
Conducting investigations and dealing with compliance issues
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Assisting traffic coordinators
Maintaining CRM system.
Essential Skills and Experience
Experience working within a Transport Department
CPC is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
IT literacy
