The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at Hall Place Veterinary Centre, Maidenhead. Your day-to-day duties will involve a mixture of consultations and surgery days, requiring some sole charge work. You will be responsible for the workup and care of patients that they see and admit into the practice and will be working across at least two sites. Some sole charge will be expected for branch work so some experience ideal.
We are ideally looking for a 4 day week (36hrs) although we are flexible to part time hours.
4 day week with set day off.
2:10 weekends (Friday 6-7pm and inpatient check 10pm, Saturday 8-3pm or Saturday 8-3pm, Sunday 9-12pm)
One duty night every 2.5 weeks (Sole charge 6-8pm and inpatient check, if required, 10pm)

Salary
The salary for this role is up to £63,000 depending on experience.
About Us
Hall Place Veterinary Centre are a 4 site practice with the main practice being a beautiful converted barn overlooking the countryside.
We have excellent practice facilities such as laparoscopic/endoscopic/arthroscopic equipment, video otoscopy, dental x-ray at 2 sites, diamond burr, tonopen, slit lamp, ultrasound, and digital x-ray.
Our main practice has dedicated dental, ultrasound and isolation suits.
About the Team and Culture
Our team currently consists of 14 vets, 16 nurses and 10 support staff. We have certificate holders in Orthopaedic, medicine and cardiology. As a team we are a very friendly and welcoming with a wealth of experience and knowledge and we strive to deliver an excellent quality of care to our patients with an emphasis on continuity of care.

We are looking for a caring, confident team player who has enthusiasm and great communication skills. We have four branches so some sole charge will be expected and for this reason we are looking for someone some experience.
