Senior Vice President, New Product Development, Open Banking

Overview

Open Banking (OB) is a worldwide phenomenon, that has been accelerating in many markets driven by the commercial opportunities it presents for banks, fintechs, PSPs and Digital Players.

The SVP, Open Banking Products for International Markets is responsible for defining the overall product strategy, defining the product roadmap, designing and delivering new products, services and business models to achieve acceleration of the business and open up new revenue streams that are aligned with the overall Open bank strategy.

This role will directly oversee the product teams and partner across, engineering, data science, legal, delivery and regional commercialization teams to deliver on its objectives. The position reports into the Executive Vice President, Open Banking international markets.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall OB product strategy and roadmap execution for IMK.

• Lead end-to-end product function for Open Banking IMK from incubation/assessment, development through to launch, testing and run of existing and new and differentiated value propositions. Scope includes connectivity, payment solution and data driven open banking services.

• Develop a product strategy for new features and offerings to enhance our competitive position and drive customer value and revenues.

• Drive product roadmap execution, drive product development activities, ensure appropriate alignment of engineering capacity and timely execution.

• Develop product briefings and collateral to be used to develop external messaging and narrative towards targeted customer segments.

• In line with Studio activities and framework, develop concept and prototypes to rapidly validate value prop and market opportunity. Engage with key stakeholders for appropriate Studio approvals, ensuring commercially viable, technically, and operationally feasible end-to-end solutions are being developed.

• Develop an efficient and effective governance and communication plan to proactively provide status updates to all related parties internally about the product lifecycle activities and KPIs

• Provide Open Banking thought leadership, follow up recent trends in payments and data technology as well as competitive trends & initiatives, effectively communicate the same internally, and come up with proposals for the Expansion Open Banking team regarding possible strategic action plans to be developed

• Accountability for leading and motivating a large and diverse team across different geographies and creating a high performing culture with a strong emphasis on professional development
