THE OPPORTUNITY

Within this brand-new opportunity asSeniorVisual Merchandising Manager, you will be at the heart of crafting innovative and forward-thinking visual merchandising strategies for our global brands, with a special focus on the UK and US markets. Collaborating closely with our Creative Director, you'll be instrumental in developing dynamic and engaging global visual merchandising concepts that perfectly align with our brand aesthetics and company objectives.

Leading the Visual Merchandising team, you'll ensure that our projects drive sales by blending data analysis with creative flair to create visually captivating displays and memorable customer experiences in stores and showrooms. You'll work cross-functionally with our Marketing, Ecommerce, Operations, and Product Design teams to maintain brand consistency and deliver seamless projects aligned with our critical path.

Always one step ahead of industry trends, you will continually evolve our global visual merchandising strategies. By leveraging data analysis, you'll optimise product placement, drive sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience, solidifying our position as an affordable luxury brand and a top shopping destination. You'll also manage budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to achieve our goals and maximise ROI.

You will be based at our stunning Head Office in Banbury, Oxfordshire 3 days per week with the flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week. Due to the nature of the role, there will also be travel involved to visit our franchise stores and showrooms.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Creating innovative and cohesive visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand's aesthetic and objectives
  • Designing and executing captivating in-store and showroom displays, window installations that attract and engage customers
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing a talented visual merchandising team in developing and executing window plans for stores, ensuring timely coordination and adherence to budget
  • Developing comprehensive visual merchandising guidelines and standards to maintain consistency across all stores and showrooms
  • Ensuring optimal product placement within stores through thorough data analysis to drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience
  • Overseeing photography briefs and asset selections
  • Communicating with Senior Product Design Managers on POS and graphic requirements
  • Ensuring the VM team have good cross-functional working relationships with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and brand consistency, including; Marketing, Ecommerce, Operations, and Product Design
  • Ensuring excellent delivery of training and support to store staff on visual merchandising techniques, standards, and best practices across all locations
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in all territories to continuously evolve and improve global visual merchandising strategies
  • Managing the visual merchandising budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to achieve desired outcomes and optimal ROI
  • Monitor and analyse sales and stocks to adjust visual merchandising strategies as needed to optimize sales performance
  • Organising quarterly visits to franchise & SIS stores, defining the aims and objectives for visits with the wider team to ultimately uphold compelling store standard share best practice and sharing key feedback
  • Overseeing store re-fits from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards and objectives
  • Overseeing and monitoring the franchise budget effectively, ensuring the team are allocating resources for optimal outcomes while maintaining cost control
  • Fostering strong relationships with franchise Store Managers to gather insights on best-selling products, ensuring visual merchandising guidelines are amended accordingly to maximise sales
  • Ensuring the team are regularly assessing and evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies, fixtures, and displays through thorough analysis and reporting, encouraging Visual Merchandisers to proactively bring opportunities and new ideas to improve ROI
  • Using all data available to continuously identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments to optimize sales performance and enhance brand impact
  • Overseeing, reviewing and responding to KPI performance and business goals, adjusting strategies as needed to drive desired outcomes
  • Working closely with the Product Design, Creative and Marketing teams to ensure that visual merchandising plans align with the overall brand direction and product launches
  • Working closely with Senior Visual Merchandisers and Senior stakeholders within the Wholesale and Merchandising teams to review sell through, seasonal buys and forecasts to ensure the showrooms are supporting this and sales mix is reflective of showroom space
  • Coordinating special events within stores and creative captivating displays at PR events where required, collaborating with the Marketing team to create immersive experiences that drive foot traffic and increase sales
  • Tailoring visual merchandising strategies to suit the unique preferences and cultural nuances of different international markets, ensuring brand consistency while also respecting local customer types and trends

THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING

  • Proven experience within a similar position within the fashion and lifestyle industry
  • Extremely creative with the ability to produce disruptive and innovative ideas
  • Ability to conceptualise and develop innovative and captivating visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand's aesthetic and objectives
  • Proficiency in design principles, including layout, colour theory, and spatial arrangement, to create visually appealing displays and installations
  • Strong leadership skills to coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing visual merchandising team, fostering collaboration and growth
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas effectively, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide clear direction to the VM team
  • Ability to think strategically and analyse data to justify decision making
  • Proven experience in managing budgets effectively and allocating resources efficiently
  • Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
  • Ability to adapt to changing market trends, customer preferences, and business goals, continuously evolving visual merchandising strategies to drive desired outcomes
  • Awareness of cultural nuances and market differences to tailor visual merchandising strategies effectively for different international markets while maintaining brand consistency
