The role Essex County Council Wellbeing, Public Health and Communities (WPHC) Team are looking to improve and enhance the work we do with the NHS, Mid and South Essex Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (MSEFT). As an anchor organisation we offer a significant opportunity to influence behaviour change. In this role, you will contribute to the formulation of strategic public health plans supporting the work of MSEFT. You will Identify, develop, implement and evaluate a range of public health/health promotion programmes to meet identified needs/priorities contributing to long term health improvement and reduction in health inequalities relevant to service users. You will be seconded into MSEFT and will jointly report to an ECC Consultant in Public Health and MSEFT Director of Strategy and Innovation. You will bring… · Educated to degree level and/or appropriate professional qualification relevant to the field or equivalent by experience, with subject matter expertise in a public health or related service. · Demonstrable evidence of building strong networks within a political environment, working effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, influencing partners, and managing change within a multi-stakeholder environment. · Proven track record of managing and delivering projects successfully whilst demonstrating breadth of thinking.
