About the role:
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery by identifying and coordinating the implementation of service improvements.
Youll onboard new customers in a timely and effective manner, maintain and develop customer relationships, and manage customer satisfaction.
You will ensure that issues are resolved before they become critical, as well as manage change control of customer documentation.
You will act as the on-call escalation point for internal teams and customers, providing timely and effective support during critical incidents. (Please note that the on-call rota is typically one week in three and the number of calls are very few. Time off in lieu can be taken at an appropriate time.)
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will need to have experience working as a Service Delivery Manager or in another similar capacity (such as a Service Desk Manager or Team Leader with a focus on customer success).
Naturally, you will need to have strong client relationship skills.
You should have a good understanding of IT Service Management principles, be able to work to SLAs, and have at least an overview knowledge of project management/PMO processes, change management, or business analysis.
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure is essential, including Virtualisation, Wi-Fi, Cloud Technology, Networking, and Telecoms.
Certifications such as ITIL v3, ITIL v4, or Prince2 would be advantageous.
Preferably, you will have experience working within the Managed Services industry, however this is not a deal-breaker.
Other important information:
Location: The role is available fully remote working from home anywhere in the UK, or office-based/hybrid at the companys office in Christchurch, Dorset if preferred. (The first 1-2 weeks will be required in the office for onboarding and initial training.)
Hours:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (you can choose to work 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-18:00 and some flexible working is available)
