Job Description


Service Delivery Manager, Based: Nuneaton, with management of Midlands and central belt of the UK, Salary up to £55k + car allowance & benefits package.

We require a Service Delivery Manager to work for an industry leading business who specialise in the hire of self-powered portable modular accommodation units, portable cabins, welfare units and associated products. This position could suit candidates from a Logistics / Installation / Service Manager background e.g. Regional Facilities Manager, Regional Transport & Logistics Manger, Regional Installation & Service Manager, Regional Logistics Manager.

The role:

To work collaboratively with other regional and corporate functions to ensure a cohesive approach to customer delivery, transport, installation and after sales services. Full regional responsibility for the Midlands and South West regions, ensuring that customer requirements are achieved through effective:
Transport planning and delivery of products
Project management and Installation / dismantle of products at site
Post installation customer care and repair / maintenance services
To manage, lead, mentor and motivate Managers who in turn manage transport and planning colleagues, field based engineers, project managers and technical representatives and a small administration team across regional branches and customer sites to deliver, install and provide post installation services in line with corporate and regional performance standards, cost control and customer expectations. To maximise resource utilisation with high quality workmanship, focusing on exceeding customer expectations.

Candidate requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role e.g. Regional Transport & Logistics Manger, Regional Installation & Service Manager, Regional Facilities Manager.
Experience in managing multi-skilled project teams, transport delivery and field service teams.
Experience of installation management and management of associated installation teams.
Experience of delivering results against operational, service, quality, safety and cost targets
Experience in managing and controlling costs
Strong customer service focus
Relationship/Stakeholder management
Driven with demonstrable skills in leading and motivating others.
An appointed person qualification would be advantageous.
Full driving licence is essential as is a flexible attitude to working hours / overnight stays when required.
