Location: London – Hybrid

The Opportunity:

For the UK Government, maintaining National Security is a 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year mission. To support these complex operations, the MoD partners with this Big4 Firm to empower critical thinking and drive value across its strategic initiatives and technology investments.


The Role:

As a Service Designer, you’ll design and deliver E2E Service experiences for the UK’s Defence, Intelligence, and Military Agencies. Collaborating with a talented design team, you’ll provide a holistic and systems-oriented approach to problem-solving that involves planning and organising people, processes, technologies, and infrastructure to improve the quality of interactions between organisations and the end user.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance.
  • Previous Defence, Military, Policing, National Security, Counter Terrorism, or Justice Project involvement.
  • Proven experience in service design, designing end-to-end services comprised of multiple digital products and touchpoints, and creating service design artifacts.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts.
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify connection points across complex systems of people, processes, and technology.
  • Ability to translate user insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile and iterative design processes.
  • Passion for creating exceptional service experiences and a deep empathy for users.


Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (DoE)
  • Discretionary Bonus - 10%
