A leading organisation in the Net Zero space is seeking an Inclusive Service Designer to help them deliver some major projects supporting low income and vulnerable consumers. What You’ll Be Doing


Joining a team centred on using in-depth research and data to create more equitable outcomes for consumers in the energy space, you will be using your service design skills to improve and deliver essential services to consumers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with researchers and designers to develop service propositions working towards Net Zero targets.


This is a role with a holistic view, but one that focuses on the most vulnerable first and foremost. It seeks to accelerate the net zero transition for low-income households by demonstrating how designing products and services inclusively can enhance these services for everyone.


This role involves problem-solving through research insights, driving the design of impactful user experiences, and defining evidence-based research requirements. Expect to engage in sophisticated projects for private and public sector clients, contributing to inclusive design practices and enhancing user outcomes.


What Experience You’ll Need to Apply


  • Proficiency in service design and user research methods and tools.
  • Proven track record in using design and user research to contribute to the development of new products and services.
  • Extensive commercial experience collaborating with designers and researchers.
  • Ability to translate user needs into tangible products/experiences.
  • Great communication abilities, and experience collaborating directly with internal and external
  • Ideally experience designing inclusive services for vulnerable groups.
