Job Description

Must hold SC clearance to start £150 p/d inside IR35 3-month contract - high likelihood of extension Gloucester location - full time on site, 9-5 shift One-stage interview - high-priority role Experience needed in 2nd line support, networking, Windows/Linux/O365, ITIL, Troubleshooting/Ticketing WHO WE ARE? Our client is a leading world-class engineering and technology consultancy that deliver advanced research, development services, and products to high-profile customers. After recent growth and expansion, they are looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Technician to join their team and be the face of their IT technical support. They're looking for someone who can work independently/unsupervised and can come in and hit the ground running. WHAT WILL THE SERVICE DESK TECHNICAN BE DOING. 1ST and 2nd line support Actioning tickets Troubleshooting IT related issues and handling 'walk-ups' Support video conference equipment and meeting rooms Assist in incidents and requests WE NEED THE SERVICE DESK TECHNICAN TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN. IT software and hardware Basic networking - device WIFI configuration Mobile phone and video conferencing equipment support Troubleshooting and ticket actioning - dealing with 'walk-ups' Customer focus and service Windows, Office 365 and Linux experience is advantageous ITIL environments TO BE CONSIDERED.
