The roleAs a Service Support Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Effectively managing the coordination tasking for external support contracts within the Infrastructure Organisation for tasks. Day-to-day, you’ll maintain and coordinate an effective external support services capability, as well as: Co-ordinate all task dependences internal and external to ensure outsourced and internal support are delivered to schedule, quality and cost. Identify trends and single points of failure and make recommendations and (where applicable) implement potential improvements and optimisations. Provide continued improvement recommendations, highlighting additional cost-effective activities that could be conducted. Hold regular meetings with Service Management to update on current tasking performance and coordinate on future scheduled tasking. Introduce consistent reporting metrics. This role is full time and is a hybrid role with 1 day onsite per week at Hawthorn. Essential experience of the Service Support Lead: Excellent Stakeholder relationship Skills. Knowledge of the Royal Navy and its processes. Commercial awareness. Resource allocation. Knowledge of Risk Management. Process creation and Management. Qualifications for the Service Support Lead: English and Maths GCSE or equivalent. UK full drivers Licence. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC)security clearance for this role.
