Key skills required for this role Sheet metal work, welding, cutting Important Experienced and qualfiied sheet metal worker Job description As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture, working to engineering standards and striving for quality right first time. You will use a range of hand tools and utilise your hand skills for manufacturing and installation purposes. Additionally, you will be expected to have an understanding of manufacturing and installation drawings.Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furnitureWorking to engineering standards, striving for quality right first timeUsing a range of hand toolsUtilising hand skills for manufacturing and installation purposesUnderstanding manufacturing and installation drawings Job Requirements: Trade papers, e.g., formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers)Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness and manufacturing processesComfortable working in confined spaces and/or at heightSafety certification, e.g., SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height, etc.Background in major construction/manufacturing environment If you have experience in metal finishing and sheet metal work, a clear understanding of SHE risks awareness and manufacturing processes, and are comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height, then you could be a great fit for this role.
