About the Role
As a Full Stack Shopify Developer for Sisters & Seekers, you will work alongside our talented digital and ecommerce team and will be responsible for building innovative web improvements and applications, targeting various devices such as desktop through to mobile. You will be the go-to for any front and backend work required to optimise our digital experience.
You will also work closely with the directors and other key departments to deliver upcoming projects and will play a significant part in propelling the company growth forward in the digital space.
What you will do:
- Participate in planning new web development projects, bringing new executable ideas to the business
- Develop and improve both existing and new applications in collaboration with our digital marketing and ecommerce departments to deliver excellent end-to-end solutions under time constraints
- Assist with steering the technical improvement and direction of the team, by bringing new knowledge and ideas to the table and putting these into action
- Be a key part of digital problem solving, across both online and in-person events to continue to modernise our approach and to excel in customer experience
- Have scope to continue with training and developing new skills
We are looking to meet someone who:
- Is technically competent with experience in full stack development, particularly working with Shopify Plus and web applications.
- Has a good understanding of building environments such as, test automation, integrations, configurations and deploying new projects once complete.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and agile team with openness to new ideas and new ways of working
- Proven track record and examples of experience using front end languages supported by Shopify (ie. HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, Liquid)
- Has front-end and back-end development experience
- Has experience with a similar e-commerce brand previously (this isn’t essential, just a bonus!)
- Is open to working from our HQ near Chester in the office
- Is passionate about their work, is meticulous in the finer details and manages their time well
- Shares in our passion to continue our growth and brand mission, working within an energetic, collaborative team
