Main purpose of the role:
Simmons Adaptive is currently searching for an experienced commercial and corporate lawyer, immediately available to support for an part time assignment lasting 4 – 5 months, starting in September.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the firms’ leading clients within the financial services industry.
The successful candidate will provide legal commercial support to cover the absence of a team member.
This position offers a unique opportunity for a lawyer with a strong background in commercial law to engage in significant projects while providing crucial legal support. If you are looking to take on a challenging role with flexible working hours, we encourage you to apply.
Key Objectives:
- Provide advice on general commercial law matters and contracts.
- Review an average of 7-8 business contracts per week, with additional ad hoc work as required.
- Utilise your general corporate/commercial background to contribute to various projects.
- Work independently and efficiently, with the ability to handle excess work.
This role is a part time opportunity to work on a flexible basis.
Person specification:
- Must be a Qualified Lawyer
- Experience in commercial law ideally in financial services industry
- You will have excellent communication and time management skills.
- You can work autonomously but can also collaborate effectively as part of the wider team.
- You will be required to hold the relevant right to work for the UK, visa sponsorship is not available via Adaptive.
