Job Role: Site & Property Maintenance Manager

Salary: £34,000

Location: Penrith, Cumbria

Type: Full Time / Permanent

Benefits: 28 Days Holiday (Inc BH), Hours 08.00 – 17.00, 5 days per week, accommodation can be provided on site at £78 per week

Overview

Everest People Solutions are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager who is looking for a varied role. As the successful candidate you will have experience of maintaining three phase electrics, large commercial oil boilers. Our client is among the leading specialists in animal by-products and renewable energy in the UK. They play a crucial role in the food and agricultural sectors by collecting and processing materials, which are then converted into meals and oils for use in pet food, cosmetics, chemicals, and renewable fuel.

Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Site & Property Maintenance Manager

  • Maintaining all utilities including oil boilers, internet etc
  • Collecting meter readings where necessary.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety aspects are in place and being followed, servicing fire alarms, extinguishers,
  • legionella testing, electrical certificates etc.
  • Organising inspections, thorough checkout reports, general maintenance and collecting keys
  • Efficiently managing the rental accommodation and commercial lets.
  • Gathering quotes for repairs as necessary and presenting them in a timely manner to management.
  • Issuing and collecting rental agreements at the Penrith site.
  • Property inspections when tenants have vacated.

Requirements for the site & property maintenance manager

  • Knowledge of three phase electric, large commercial oil boilers and IT technical experience.
  • Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Checking the general tidiness of the site.
  • Keeping a flow of communication between tenants and management.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
  • Electrical installation and maintenance experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of property inspection and reporting is desirable.
