We are seeking an adept Hazardous Waste Site Chemist with substantial experience to join a reputable client known for fostering career advancement opportunities

Location: Adlington, Blackrod, Chorley, and neighbouring areas.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Site Chemist, you will oversee a team of Chemists, manage relevant documentation, ensure strict adherence to Safety, Environmental, and Company protocols, conduct COSHH assessments, and prepare processed waste streams for national distribution.

Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a background in the Hazardous Waste Sector, with either a minimum of 3 years as a Chemist seeking career advancement or currently occupying a supervisory role. Proficiency in verbal and written communication is essential, along with competence in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Direct client interaction experience is advantageous.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should hold a minimum of an HNC in Chemistry or a related field such as Biology or Forensics, with preference given to those with additional Chemistry modules or higher qualifications. Additionally, the following experience or training is crucial:

Desirable Qualifications:

Forklift Truck (FLT) License
WAMITAB Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC)
IOSH or NEBOSH safety qualification, or equivalent
