The CompanyAn award winning well established and well-regarded Contractor with over 50 years industry experience are looking to add a Site Manager and a Duty Manager. This is to work on a major railway infrastructure project in London.The ProjectAs the Site Manager / Duty Manager you will oversee the replacement of transformers and copper wiring, Pway and Civils works on a 20 mile stretch of railway. Due to the size of the project, we are looking to bring on board a Site Manager (Days) and a Duty Manager (Nights & Weekends)RequirementsFor this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;A Valid PTSSSSTS / SMSTSExperienced in managing Civil works in the rail industryIt is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;Experienced as a Site ManagerExperience over seeing multidisciplinary works on a rail projectExcellent organizational and communication skillsThe RoleJob Title: Site ManagerJob Type: ContractLocation: LondonProject: Compete renewal work on a section of track in LondonReporting to: Senior Project ManagerDUTIESResponsible for quality of works on siteMaintaining Health & Safety standards on siteLiaise with the project stakeholders and client personnel as requiredAdministration / completion of site paperwork, records & head office returnsManaging and ordering resources and materials at each stage of the projectManaging subcontractors by ensuring the programme of works are completedPlan, coordinate & motivate effective deployment of allocated personnel and resourcesUpdate weekly progress on site programme and site drawings & share with Project / Contracts ManagersPromote & implement site specific management plans to ensure site activities comply with company policies This is a 18 Month Contract with a competitive Rate on offer for the successful candidate.
