Talented Site Manager required on a permanent or freelance basis
We are working alongside a successful London based building main contractor, with an expected turnover, this year of £95m. They have recently won several new schemes and are keen to recruit a talented Site Manager. The contractor specialises within the London residential new build and refurbishment sector. Working on projects from £2m – £30m. The refurbishment schemes tend to be 2 storey basement excavations with very high end finishes or complex cut and carve structural projects. Our client’s business model is extremely well managed, with a reputation for producing a quality project on time and budget, which results in a large amount of repeat business.
The role
The Site Manager will contribute at the highest level with regards to responsibility for delivery of the project safely, on time and to the client’s satisfaction and will be responsible for the delivery of a new build basement (to shell and core), an RC frame and completion of the envelope. The contractor is happy to employ someone on a permanent or freelance basis.
Requirements
Our client is looking for someone that can communicate well (good client skills), with experience of RC frame packages and capable of maximising and getting the best out of the site team. Other pre requisites are:
Strong management and communication skills
Commercially and technically competent
Strong appreciation for health and safety, procedures and programme.
Comfortable with managing meetings and dealing with the client and their representatives.
