Job Description
Current requirement for a Site Manager to work nightshifts from Monday to Friday, this requirement will be working for a Top Contractor who are carrying out internal refurbishment works to a local Hospital located within the London Borough of Islington.
Duties & Responsibilities;
- To ensure that the construction operation is managed to deliver, build on time, defect free, within cost parameters, safely and to customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing the build process.
- Management of project programmes,
- To manage the daily activities of the appointed Sub-Contractors in respect Of Health and Safety, Quality and programme.
- Lead weekly progress meetings and producing the required timeline of works / action points.
- Subcontractor management to ensure projects are delivered on time and compliant.
- Control of subcontractors and directly employed labour.
- Liaison with the Client.
- Review of ongoing works with a view to highlight potential defects.
- Ensure all contractors work to issued drawings, company specification and trade conditions/scope of works.
- Ensure regular inspection of each area of the project and snagging sheets completed and issued to relevant trades.
- Carry out random property inspections to ensure quality standards are being maintained.
Essential Criteria
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Flexibility to work nights.
- Shift Pattern would be a 12 Hour Shift from 6AM to 6PM (Flexibility if required).
