Site Reliability Engineer – Opensource Obs/Mon Tooling – 3,000+ end users – Tech & Trading House – Comp in Excess of £200,000
My client is a prestigious multi-strat hedge fund who place huge investment into technology, enabling them to build some of the most sought-after software in the finance market. They’re embarking on an ambitious initiative to completely revamp their stack utilising the latest opensource tooling.
They’re looking to hire an expert SRE with specialisms in monitoring & observability to take the reigns on a significant part of their opensource transformation. You should have experience maintaining and contributing to opensource tech and be looked upon as a thought leader for observability by your peers.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience using opensource technology in an SRE or DevOps engineering capacity.
- Experience contributing to opensource technology, either in your own time or as part of your day job.
- Expert-level experience with one of Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager, OpenTelemetry or similar.
- Experience working across a Kubernetes environment.
Desirable:
- Understanding of Ansible and Terraform.
- Python, Golang or Rust engineering experience.
- Experience in a developer tooling engineering function.
