Xpertise is working with one of the Midlands' top tech firms to expand its current tech team. For now, we're recruiting a Lead SRE to join the existing team and drive the company forward.
Key details:
Salary: £75,000-85,000
Location: Remote-based + office in Nottingham
Tech stack desired / what you will learn:
- AWS: ECS, S3, Lambda
- CloudWatch
- .NET
- Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
- Monitoring and observability: New Relic
- Microservices: Docker
- CI/CD management tools
- Python
Role overview: The team has recently set up a new SRE team and now leads someone to lead it. The junior-mid-level engineers are fantastic, but they need direction from someone more senior who can mentor them all while ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of their systems. We're looking for someone to influence the strategic direction of the monitoring and observability patterns and processes across engineering and technical operations to support the highest levels of uptime.
