Skilled Pig Stockperson We require a skilled Pig Stockperson to join our new purpose-built farm. The high health 2000 sow unit is a closed breeding herd producing 7kg weaners. We operate on a three-week batch system also producing our own replacement gilts. The unit is fully slatted and has a computerised wet feed system using co-products. The successful candidate will join a small team working in all areas of the farm with duties including: Farrowing Room Husbandry Artificial Insemination Weaning and Loading of Pigs Pressure Washing The ideal candidate must be adaptable, reliable, motivated and diligent. Pig experience would be an asset but not essential. There is scope to provide training to a committed individual who is willing to learn and uphold a high standard of stockmanship. PPE farm clothing and excellent staff facilities are provided. Salary negotiable depending on experience with accommodation options available.
