Are you seeking an enriching career in a stunning location? Purovets has an incredible opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a RCVS accredited, independent small animal veterinary practice in the beautiful county of Cumbria.
Located in the west of Cumbria, our client's practice offers fresh, clean air, unspoilt countryside, breath-taking views of lakes and mountains, and a relaxed lifestyle with welcoming communities. Cumbria provides the quality of life you've been searching for.
Our client, an award-winning, RCVS accredited small animal practice, opened its doors 18 months ago and has since built an excellent reputation in the local area. They are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to become the 5th Vet in their dedicated team. Our client values a positive attitude, excellent patient and client care, clear and polite communication skills, and a well-rounded General Practitioner. New graduates are encouraged to apply, as their experienced team is ready to provide support and help ease you into General Practice, including Out of Hours support.
You will join a wonderful team of veterinary professionals, including 4 Vets, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a fantastic support team. Their modern practice features state-of-the-art equipment, including Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, a Dental Suite with Dental X-ray, an in-house laboratory, kennels, a separate cattery, and much more.

As the practice continues to grow and build trust within the local community, they seek a team member who aligns with this ethos and can help provide a compassionate service to the pets of West Cumbria. The Rota:
• Full time role - 38 hour week
• 4 day week
• 1:5 weekends on call
• Part time applications are welcomed
The Benefits:
• Competitive salary up to £68,000 plus enhancements for Out-Of-Hours
• CPD allowance or two years New Grad Scheme
• RCVS & VDS fees paid
• Driving licence required
